What we offer
More Flexible
To showcase goods to a worldwide audience APG is launching an e-Market Place. This will enable businesses to offer their goods and services to a worldwide audience. This new export market will offer African businesses the chance to profit from the worldwide interest in Africa around the FIFA 2010 World Cup.
More Secure
To provide security for buyer and seller alike, APG is adopting the Commonwealth Trade Exchange Platform that provides an online escrow service to businesses that trade internationally. This safeguards buyer and seller securing payments and ensuring each deal is completed after delivery is made.
More Commercial
The Payment Gateway will provide the opportunity for African businesses to accept payment through all major credit and debit cards and to receive settlement to their African bank account or if they have no bank account through the new ZippCard payment system that is be marketed across Africa. This is available as either an attachment to an existing website and as cohesive element of the e-Market Place.
Led by the e-Africa Commission of NEPAD, it is perhaps the first time that a continent, under the auspices of the African Union, has determined to work together to provide a real and effective commercial opportunity for those African entrepreneurs who choose to trade on the global market. All 52 countries have the opportunity to bring their international businesses into a dynamic online environment.
APG will enable businesses and individuals to buy and sell without the expense of the traditional letter of credit and it also eliminates the other risks associated with International trade. The new service is inexpensive and payment will be cleared through APG assuring sellers of their funds and guaranteeing buyers delivery.
